Matthew B. Meaker

Matt Meaker focuses his practice on representing companies involved in construction in Arizona and across the U.S. He chairs the State Bar of Arizona’s Construction Law Section, serves on the board of directors of the Construction Financial Management Association (Valley of the Sun Chapter), and, in 2015, he was a “Top 20 Under 40” honoree by ENR Southwest. In addition, as co-chair of the Arizona State Contractors Coalition, Matt has helped lead the ongoing efforts to reform Arizona’s transaction privilege tax (TPT) laws.

Matt is a frequent speaker on construction industry topics, including the use of public-private partnerships, and has co-authored or contributed to a number of publications related to construction, including the Green Building Construction: A Practical Guide to Transactional and Litigation Issues (American Bar Association, 2014) and the Arizona Construction Law Practice Manual (State Bar of Arizona, 2016).

Matt grew up in the East Valley, and he and his wife and their two daughters live in Tempe.
